An internet meme is something that someone posts and you check out. The post could be a video, a link, or an image that you look at. It could be something funny, interesting, stupid, random, pointless, but you still check it out. A meme is "used to describe a catchphrase or concept that spreads in a fast way from person to person via the Internet." If you're talking to your friend and you show them something or say something, and they pass it on to other people on the internet it becomes a meme. Quizzes that you might put on your Myspace and your friend sees it and then does it is and posts it on their Myspace is a meme.
