this week went by pretty fast, I kept thinking yesterday was friday for the longest time.
having no school monday really threw me off.
this week I learned that theres many different tools in photoshop that I never knew about!
what made me happy this week was that we had no school on monday!
& my present from Micky! it's cute, i just hope my dog never gets hold of it!
what frustrated me was that I thought the week was supposed to be over and it really wasn't!
i'd like to learn more different ways to used the tools in photoshop.

Humanoid Robot teaches dentists to feel people's pain

"NEW YORK (Nov. 14) - Sixty-five years after an American P-38 fighter plane ran out of gas and crash-landed on a beach in Wales, the long-forgotten World War II relic has emerged from the surf and sand where it lay buried.

Beach strollers, sunbathers and swimmers often frolicked within a few yards of the aircraft, unaware of its existence until last summer, when unusual weather caused the sand to shift and erode."

Boston Film Fesitval

The film that I picked was "Get the Glass", it's a game and you play the bad guy trying to get some milk. (Weird, I know..). I like it because it gives you something to do, but the only part I hate about it is it's kind of slow to play, and the one part is really hard! stupid cops! The animation is done really well, it looks like everything is made out of clay or some sort of clay substance. The technical issues it has is just that it's a little slow to do. The colors are kind of dark, more gloomy than anything. The overall design is really cool, and it must have taken a long time to do this, as well as to think of the idea of a "game board."

Everyone, get the glass of milk for these poor people!

this week I had Wednesday off and me and Nick went to the falls and taped for our project.
what frustrated me was that Nick jumped onto a rock in the water and made me flip out on him because I wouldn't be able to save him!
what made me happy was that we finally got a little bit of footage.

this is really amazing that someone that was able to see, wasn't a painter and didn't think he was good at it, now that he's blind, it's what he loves to do and is a way for him to see.

i can't even paint, his work is so much better than mine could ever be.

this week went by really fast, since we had monday off and NFHS has no BOCES tomorrow.
today me and John went and recorded the HAZMAT people that showed what was in a fire truck and taught about fire tanks, and hazardous substances and what they used to detect it.
it was pretty interesting.
one kid blew the fire horn and scared the crap out of me, you can see my camera shake when he pulled the cord.

this week going by so quickly made me happy, and that i got my CS3 package.
the only thing that frustrated me this week was the stupid fire truck horn.
i want to go over and re-learn how to use everything again, since it's been so long.
this week i learned that nobody is in a good mood anymore!

this week went by really fast, which was really good for me since I didn't have much to do for NCCC because I finished everything that was supposed to be handed in. that made me REALLY happy.

what frustrated me was that whole niagara county thing and figuring out what things I specifically wanted to talk about.

I would like to be able to be more "imaginative" about what projects I want to do and what I want to accomplish with those projects.

I need to get started on those tutorials so I get a "refresher" of final cut.

My Favorite Podcast

My favorite podcast so far is called 95.5 WBRU. There are a few different host's and they have interviewed some of my favorite music artists. They ask some funny questions in some of their "shows." It's really great to be able to listen to famous people to see that they actually can be down to earth people and aren't really stuck up in the whole "I'm famous, so you suck," kind of thing.

This is really cool, I found it on gapingvoid's blog. It's called the Microsoft Surface, go to the site and watch the three videos, it's amazing. Somebody buy it for me!

Well, today was... boring.
I didn't go to BOCES because we had a half day to do senior crap.
So this week, getting stuff done for college made me happy.
But, the stupid quiz that I was taking quit out on me because I accidentally hit some button so I had to email my teacher and ask her to maybe let me do the quiz again.
That really made me mad!
This week I learned that watching Steve design his logos isn't getting me anywhere with my work! (Even though I finished my work!)

So today, I played secretary and practiced my counting!
I'm very good at counting.

I have a lot of pictures of the Gorge for the Niagara Falls project,
& this weekend I'm going to try to go to Fort Niagara and get a lot of pictures there.

Tomorrow I'm not going to be here because we have a half day at NFHS and we're doing all this senior crap.

College is going pretty good, so that's making me extremely happy because I'm not too stressed out over it.

I know I get some leeway because of the whole college thing, but I'm still trying to get everything done for the time it's due for everyone else in the class.
I'm all caught up in NCCC so far (since I stayed up till 3 AM last night), I just have to make a power point which is due next Sunday, ugh.
